Though 99% of it has been removed, there may be small traces of vegetable matter. It can easily be removed by hand or flicking.
Story behind the fleece
In 2021, I met my neighbor, an award winning Alpaca Breeder, who is a stone's throw away from me.
Jerry been a small farmer for over 15 years. His many alpacas are beautiful, well cared for pets that bring a lot of joy to all who visit his farm. I fell totally in love with his Alpaca and their fleece, which are very high micron at due to his years of specific breeding he's made into a science.
This serendipitous meeting has led me to be able to clean, sort, skirt, card, spin and produce beautiful products for the fiber artist who likes to spin, felt, weave, knit or crochet!
