Celebrate my birthday with me! Use code HAPPY40TH for any of my patterns!

November is my birth month!

Happy November, my knitting friends!

Though, I have to admit, it definitely doesn't feel like November, with a high of 78 degrees Fahrenheit!

November is my birth month, and I have a special announcement.

First of all, I want to thank all of my wonderful customers and followers because I was able to achieve a pretty amazing goal all before my 40th birthday.

I am happy going into my 40s. Everyday I am thankful! Learning to let go of things that don't work for me, embracing the help and support from others around me (if you know me very well, I try to do it ALL by myself) I have a wonderful husband that supports my dreams, a loving teenage son who asks for hugs and two wonderfully joyful and healthy dogs that complete our little family. I'm hoping my 40s means a little bit less hurried, a little more enjoying the moment and a lot more adventures with traveling and exploring the world.

But, without further ado...

I paid off my crazy student loans all before my 40th birthday!

Of course, I couldn't have done it without your support and love and it means the world to me to be able to share my fiber artistry with you all!!

As tradition permits, I am having a birthday sale on all my patterns for the month of November. All my self published patterns are 40% off (because, new decade!)

A selection of my most popular patterns from the recent festival season

I love love love going to fiber festivals, either attending as a customer or vendor, it's such a thrill to also see my designs knit and worn! I feel a special connection, and I feel honored, that I was trusted with your time and energy to make one of my creations.

Some of the designs that were most popular this autumn season...

Francesca! A two day, totally knitting journey inspired this little cropped cardigan. Listening to Hozier’s new album, specifically Francesca, has helped me manifest the details and fit of this drapey knit; uses 4 strands held together (2 dk + 2 lace weight)

Starter kits are available to make the Francesca!

Alee, a lovely top down pullover with eyelet trimmed edges and a symmetrical cable and lace pattern that wraps around the yoke. Use my scrumptuous silky Merino Cashmere Silk yarn for this pullover, which is knit at a slightly looser than average gauge.

Cavanaugh, a gift for my fiancee, available in women’s and men’s sizes.
Cavanaugh is a saddle shoulder cabled pullover. The front, back and sleeves are worked back and forth in flat knitting and seamed. Don’t be afraid of seaming, as it adds long lasting durability to this design. Worked in my dk merino superwash

Travel back to 1986 with a childhood favorite movie, inspired by the book by Jill Murphy. This shifting hue scarf uses 7 mini skeins in fingering weight, each representing a snippet from The Worst Witch.
Photos were taken at Greyfriars Kirkyard in Edinburgh, Scotland

The 7 color set is available for a limited pre order on my website. It does not include the pattern

Whether you wear the capelet as a poncho or a giant cowl you will be extra cozy in this quick knit. Worked in my super bulky superwash merino, you can go with sparkle super bulky or non sparkle! 2-3 skeins needed

Advent Box Pre Order is closing

I'm closing advent box orders November 15th.

I tried to keep the advent pre-order open as long as possible for the last minute people out there. I am not saying they won't be available in the future- but more, I have to cap off the pre-order so I can fulfill the orders I do have.

Get your advent box!

I am very excited about all the extras I added (I did go a little overboard!) I am super excited about you all receiving these.

If you ordered an advent box, they are getting dyed and packed as we speak. I am shipping international orders first, and then domestic next.

Thank you for reading all this !

I hope have a wonderful and happy Thanksgiving!
