About the shawl: using 3 colors of Cape May Fiber DK (colors velvet corset, fog and crispy leaves), one skein of each, lace mosaic knitting and stripes all coalesce in a seasonally festive shawl. Worked from the corner to bind off in one piece, rapid stitch increasing occurs on one edge while you work your way through the joyful and never boring stitch patterns. The design is both charted and written, so choose your favorite way to follow along.
Don’t be afraid if you’ve never worked mosaic stitch, because you’ll only ever be holding one strand of yarn at a time (unlike fair isle !)
