A smaller micron count means the fibers are thinner and that often leads to a softer yarn. Most merino sock yarns out there use around 21 micron merino. I prefer to use the lower micron because I can feel the difference, and I am sure you can too!
- 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon
- Hand wash cool water, lay flat to dry
- 463 yards / 100g skein
- 4 ply
This is a seriously soft yet durable 4 ply yarn. The superfine merino is a dream to knit with- so silky soft!
It will make beautiful socks, shawls and other lightweight pieces. Hand dyed in the USA.
