Hello friends!

I've been working on a restock of my Super Bulky Superwash.

The first colors I tend to dye are the ones that are fan favorites; Pink Sand, Undertow, Festivus, Needle in the Haystack, Fig Jam and Neon Rainbowfish.

Oh, that Neon Rainbowfish!!

It was part of my mystery yarn club a couple years ago. It is a color that I dye 1 skein at a time, as opposed to multiple skeins in one pan. That's because the colors need a certain amount of exposure in the pot. My super bulky is extra large (225 grams!) which means it doesn't like to share room. Due to the 1 skein dyed at a time, each skein has its own unique look, the way the colors play together.

I knew I had to make a sample of the Neon Rainbowfish, and the Sidewinder Beanie by Aspen Leaf Knits was such a perfect way to use this multi color. Topped off with a matching hand made pom pom by North Star Stitches

BONUS.. there was plenty of yarn leftover to make something else... perhaps a pair of mitts?
